Leland Hogan has been re-elected president of the Utah Farm Bureau Federation. It is his fifth two-year term as president. He will continue to serve on the American Farm Bureau board of directors and the American Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture. Rulon Fowers, a hay grower from Hooper, Weber County; Rex Larsen, a cattle rancher and grain farmer from Spanish Fork; and Edwin Sunderland, a dairy farmer and turkey producer from Chester, Sanpete County, were re-elected to two-year terms on the Utah Farm Bureau board of directors. Dustin Cox, a cattle rancher and hay broker from Alton, Kane County, was selected as the new chairman of the Young Farmer and Rancher Committee. Marc and Hollie Henrie, FSA loan officer and farmers from Smithfield, Cache County; Kyle and Shelly Matthews, grain and forage growers from Grantsville, Tooele County; Meagher and Tiffany McConkie, ranchers from Altamont, Duchesne County; and John and Dusty Reese, range conservation specialist and ranchers from Kanab, Kane County, were selected to be on the state YF&R; committee. Janae Titmus, who with her husband operates a sheep and cattle and farming operation in Grantsville, Tooele County, was elected to the state Women’s Committee.
Alan Raymond has been appointed senior vice president of global channel sales and chief revenue officer at Certiport, and Neill Hopkins has been named vice president of global operations. Raymond had more than 20 years of sales leadership experience. Most recently, he was vice president of sales for a Utah software company. Hopkins most recently was responsible for the development, management and growth of Computing Technology Industry Association certification programs.
Alex Treharne has joined XanGo LLC as senior vice president for Asia Pacific. He has nearly 20 years of ecpeirence in the industry, with the past 15 years spent in various executive positions. His education includes degrees from Brigham Young University.
Adam T. Mow and Ann Waters have joined the Utah Dispute Resolution Board of Trustees. Mow is an attorney at Babcock Scott & Babcock and a volunteer mediator. His education includes a degree from the University of Utah. He is on the Utah Court Annexed Alternative Dispute Resolution Program roster of mediators and arbitrators and has mediated more than 100 matters and also is an arbitrator. Waters is the marketing and communications director at Parsons Behle & Latimer. Her education includes a degree from the University of Utah.
Tal Harry has been named a partner at Richter7. He started his career 23 years ago as a runner in the mailroom at Fotheringham & Associates, and has worked in the client services side of the business, heading advertising campaigns. For the past three years, he has led teams of account managers and creative directors as Richter7′s account director. He also has served as marketing manager at a pair of Salt Lake City locations.
Greg M. Rosenvall has been elected chairman of the Utah Hospitals and Health Systems Association Board of Trustees. Rosenvall is chief executive officer of Gunnison Valley Hospital and he has been in that position since 1996. Prior to entering the health care field, he was employed as an engineer and project manager for an oil and gas company. He joined the UHA board in 2005. His education includes a degree from Brigham Young University.
Bill Heiner has been elected president of the Salt Lake Board of Realtors. He will serve for one year. Heiner is an associate broker and agent with the Draper office of RE/MAX Associates. DeAnna Dipo is serving as president-elect of the board. Dipo, an associate broker and co-owner of Distinctive Properties in Draper, has been in the real estate business since 1996.
Shelly Storey has joined The Orton Group as media director and associate. She will have overall responsibility for the agency’s media research, placement and buying functions. She most recently operated her own advertising agency and has experience as a cable TV channel program director; an on-air radio personality; a television sales assistant, programming director and research director; and media planner/buyer for an advertising agency. Storey’s education includes a degree from Brigham Young University.
Steven ZoBell has joined AdvancedMD as chief product and technology officer. He will direct al aspects of engineering, information technology and product management. ZoBell has more than 18 years of product development, software engineering and business management experience. Prior to joining AdvancedMD, he was executive vice president and chief technology officer for a software company. He also has been a president of a subsidiary of a developing and publisher of interactive games and was product unit manager for a game division at another company.
